The Story Behind Flywheel
Founded in 2016 by Daniel Sorenson as a ‘freelancer’ running paid media campaigns for various businesses, by the following year it was a full-time gig. Spending years working for agencies and clients, there was always a limit of impact, but BEING the agency there was never a limit. We’re able to impact businesses based on years of experience that apply to marketing combined with internal operations in order to solve real business issues that obstruct growth online and offline.
People ask where the name came from, and the truth is it came from a very influential book. Good to Great by Jim Collins describes the Flywheel effect as “In building a great company or social sector enterprise, there is no single defining action, no grand program, no one killer innovation, no solitary lucky break, no miracle moment. Rather, the process resembles relentlessly pushing a giant, heavy flywheel, turn upon turn, building momentum until a point of breakthrough, and beyond.”
